The Model 885 BOC (Burst On Command), as a Travel Serial Matrix Printer, provides high speed printing, bursting and stacking of coupons, plus advanced handling of conventional multi-part continuous forms. This dual coupon/forms functionality makes the Model 885 BOC an exceptional value for your printing needs. The Model 885 BOC uses TI's unique wheel burster to separate coupons along horizontal perforations. The coupon bursting capability is an effective solution for users wanting to quickly and cost effectively print and distribute tickets, checks or receipts on single part forms. Selective bursting, an optional coupon stacker, the ability to print conventional forms and a front paper path, all contribute to the superiority of this versatile printer. Selective bursting lets the user application determine when forms should be burst. This allows users to conveniently distribute coupons in groups or individually, as needed. The printer can also be set to burst each form automatically, a real time saver over the old method of moving the coupons to a bursting machine after printing. Paper Handling
An optional coupon stacker frees you to perform other functions while the Model 885 BOC places the separated forms into a holding bin. The printer can count the output, stop printing and notify the user when the bin is full. When not printing and bursting coupons, simply remove the stacker and load conventional multi-part forms into the Model 885 BOC. This versatility eliminates the idle-time experienced on "coupon only" printers. The front paper path allows you to quickly change the paper, so you can move easily between coupon and conventional multi-part form applications without even opening the printer case.	Turn a switch "Print Features" on the programmable control panel and the printer recalls forms requirements needed to automatically align the paper, printhead and burster, providing reliable printing and bursting of each form. Because of its small footprint, the Model 885 BOC conveniently fits on countertops or recesses into user stations, making it useful for many different work environments. In non-coupon applications, the Model 885 BOC provides zero tear-off capability, minimizing forms waste and maximizing operator productivity, making it the ideal choice for demand document applications.
