Paper loading is motorized for one hand document loading. A built-in software control detects and voids erroneous or mis-encoded documents. The IER 557 also features pro-active maintenance, remote access diagnosis, downline loading of customized applications and Stock Control Number handling. The IER 557 is designed for reliable, long-lasting performance in high-use conditions. The IER 557 is also available in an ATM built-in version and as an integrated floor pedestal model with an optional high capacity document output stacker. The IER 557 features a versatile and reliable field-switchable Thermal Transfer (TT) or Direct Thermal (DT) printing. The IER 557 printer can work in both Direct Thermal (DT) and Thermal Transfer (TT) print modes at the flip of a switch. The IER 557 gives you a choice in selecting the most cost-effective consumables. In TT mode, you can choose between single pass or economical multi-pass ribbons. The IER 557 comes with 2 or 3 paper stock bins for fanfold ATB documents. A standard front feed slot provides convenient insertion for revalidation.
